Welcome to part 3 of our series on goal-planning for life! In this post, we’re going to talk about your sweet spot.

If you’ve read the previous two posts, you’ve hopefully already taken some notes about who you are, what you enjoy, and what goals you have for the future. If you haven’t already done this, be sure to check our part 1 here and part 2 here.

Ken Coleman on finding your sweet spot

Before moving on to our last part of the series about how to manage your daily duties, we wanted to share an idea from Ken Coleman. Ken is a career coach and bestselling author of The Proximity Principle.

According to Ken, your sweet spot is the place where your talent (what you do best), passion (what you love most), and mission (results that deeply matter to you) intersect.

Your sweet spot

In this short video, Ken shares about how to find your sweet spot in your career. In our series so far, we’ve talked about who you are as well as your vision and goals. If you have 7 minutes to spare, listen to Ken discuss how to find your sweet spot in your career. We think it’s worth your time!

Try this exercise!

In this video, Ken will lead us through an exercise in finding clarity on your personal talents and passions. Whether you’re fresh out of college and ready to start your career, finishing high school and ready to jump into the workforce, or a working adult who needs a change, this exercise will help you see new opportunities based on your talents and passions.
